Job Summary: The position of the IT Infrastructure Service Lead/Device Management is part of the Global Infrastructure Team and is reporting to the Manager of the Messaging & Desktop Team. Global Infrastructure falls under Constellium IT, which is a global organization with team members distributed over many sites, different countries, and time zones. The IT Infrastructure Service Lead/Device Management provides Service Management, expert solution engineering and 3rd level support in the Workplace, Collaboration, and Cloud services domain of Messaging and Desktop for the Device Management, with a strong shift-left and continuous improvement mindset.  This role is a hyrbid opportunity with at least 2 days in-office mandatory.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Device Management/Service Management ensuring that the service matches the needs of our sites and is working in a reliable fashion.
  • Engineering of innovative solutions to address business needs and service gaps, within the roadmap of Global Infrastructure for the service.
  • Deployment of such solutions in collaboration with local IT teams or other central IT functions.
  • Contribute to the service roadmap and life cycle by staying on top of the Microsoft product roadmap and technology.
  • Applies, maintains, and evolves Device Management Standards and related documentation.
  • Creates and maintains operational and support documentation, especially Knowledge Base entries, and usage guides.
  • Implements software and configuration changes with minimal service impact and following Change Management processes.
  • Provide timely, focused, and appropriate 3rd level support to local IT teams and, if necessary, the Service Desk organization, within service SLAs and with strong customer focus, for the service on office and shop floor computers as well as mobile devices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in a Service Manager role and technical domain, gained in a complex global organization, with knowledge about ITIL processes and PMI-based project management.
  • Conceptual design and implementation of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Intune Endpoint Management and Advanced Group Policy Management considering the overall requirements from different sites.
  • Proven track record in (remotely) supporting, troubleshooting, and engineering following Microsoft technologies and products in medium to large-scale corporate organizations:
    • Active Directory/Azure Active Directory and complementary services like PKI, Azure ADSync, Intune Connector, Key Management Servers etc.
    • Windows Enterprise Clients and Features as well as mobile operating systems.
    • Office 365 – Exchange Online, Sharepoint incl. OneDrive, Teams and smaller Microsoft 365 apps, but also Office desktop suite issues related to application deployments, CloudService connectivity and issues.
  • Scripting knowledge using PowerShell is required.
  • Above-average knowledge on Windows Servers and network topics like routing, firewalls, switching, 802.1x, Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN, and internet proxy.
  • Fluent written and spoken English required; German and/or French skills are an asset.
  • Problem Solving mind set, motivated by identifying and addressing root causes.
