Wise Alloys Chairman David D'Addario Named to Aluminum Association Board MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. -– July 15, 2002 –- The Aluminum Association, the trade association for producers of primary aluminum, recyclers and semi-fabricated aluminum products, recently appointed Wise Alloys Chairman David D'Addario to its Board of Directors. D'Addario joins a 22-member board of directors that includes executives from Alcoa, Alcan and Kaiser Aluminum Corp., according to Patrick Kelly, an association spokesman. Wise Alloys joined the trade association in April, Kelly said. "It's important for Wise Alloys to be involved in the leadership of the aluminum industry," said D'Addario. "As the third-largest U.S. aluminum can stock manufacturer, we can provide valuable input and make significant contributions to the U.S. aluminum industry by our membership in the Aluminum Association." Based in Washington, D.C., with offices in Detroit, Mich., the association provides leadership to the industry through its programs and services. The group also is dedicated to enhancing aluminum's position in a world of proliferating materials, increasing its use as the "material of choice," removing impediments to its fullest use, and assisting in achieving the industry's environmental, societal, and economic objectives.
