At Wise Alloys employee safety is a fundamental value that incorporates an understanding and expectation of "Continuous Improvement" in the safety and health process. All operations are reviewed and evaluated for potential hazards as part of an on-going pro-active approach to injury prevention.

Employees receive a wide variety of training that improves their hazard awareness skills and ensures that they have the knowledge to work safely. The Safety Leadership Team under the direction of the Safety and Training Manager establishes safety policies, standards, and requirements. All injuries and "near" injuries are evaluated to identify causes and corrective actions that can prevent future injuries.

All contractors performing work at Wise Alloys facilities are required to certify that their employees have completed a 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification program and in addition must complete a Wise Alloys safety orientation before being authorized to perform work.
